Jorte FTW! It syncs with Google calander. There are several colors to choose and many levels of transparency. And like Droid-Xer said, it's free. Currently there are 25 different sized widgets included.

Been trying Jorte. Works well. The only thing I would want more of is for repeat evens, no options for bi weekly that I could find. Other than that really small issue for me, its a very nice app.

Having trouble with Jorte updating. I set it to 5min sync and nothing I added from my gmail calendar is showing on Jorte after 16 hours(the longest update time, 3 days now it hasnt updated). Is there an issue that if you make changes from other sources (i.e. desktop computer) that the changes arent being updated on your app? Seems to be whats happening to me.

Edit: Extra info, rooted stock rom. No sync services frozen in TI and droid wall disabled made no difference (even though I allowed all sync services and jorte were allowed).

Edit #2: Found a temp fix on yahoo answers. Not sure how long this fix will work but for others this might help like it did me. Menu>Settings>Apps>Manage Apps>All>Calendar Storage>Clear Data>Ok. Open Android calendar>Menu>More>Calendar, leave this screen open so all your data can be redownloaded. Closed the Android calendar after sync was done, opened up Jorte via my widget, flipped through a few months and everything updated.

Edit #3: Apparently I have to clear the data from calendar storage in order to updae info. There has to be a better way.

I use both Pure Calendar apps. Pure Grid which shows the whole month and Pure Calendar that shows the current week, both are nicely customizable.

This is a paid app and has great support from the developer.
