Is there a way to findout which app is eating all my battery?

Hey guys! Is there an app out there that can pinpoint what other app is eating up all my darn battery life. I'm down to 5 hours of life on an EXTENDED life Battery.

    Please let me know!

Should be in the settings somewhere.

    On my OG it's home> menu> settings> about phone> battery use.

Sent from my GimpDroid (Installed by RZR).

Do what guidot suggested or you can also try an app called Watchdog.

I'm with WCK, unless you're running an app that's always active, especially a task killer, antivirus, or large number of widgets. If you are, kill them.

Also I use spare parts to diagnose additional information. For instance for a few days a while back my battery was dying crazy fast. So I looked in spare parts and it turned out that out of ten hours of the charger the phone was only sleeping for about an hour and I really wasn't using the phone that much. Looked in to CPU usage and network usage and one app was hogging everything. It didn't even show up on the battery usage statistics in the system settings. Anyway that was a good tip that it was going rogue so I uninstalled it and my battery leveled out.

A task killer is bad news anyways. Android phones are set up to kill apps in background to save memory. And most don't use memory or battery life in the background. All your gonna do is kill apps that most are gonna start again and waste memory and battery.

If you're referring to fbm saying kill them, I'm pretty sure he meant "kill them, kill them with fire"

To quote Arthur Dent on the subject of what I think of task killers...

ARTHUR: Stop, you vandals! You home wreckers! You half-crazed Visigoths! I’ll have you hung, drawn and quartered! And whipped! And boiled! Then I’ll take all the pieces and I will jump on them until…until…until…
I'm at the point of not being sure of what I'll do then.
