Is your phone stock? I've had issues with tweetdeck and modified services.jar files

Have you tried either uninstalling and reinstalling it or clearing all the data and cache from the app in the app manager?

I like the columns in Tweetdeck. My phone is stock minus the fact that it's root. I have cleared the data to no avail.

Maybe try clearing the app data again, then clearing the cache/Dalvik Cache in recovery... Sometimes that will help app-specific FC's.

Someone with a DroidX will have to chime in... I'm not sure what Moto calls it exactly but it should be an option in the default recovery or clockworkmod if you have that. It doesn't delete any user or personal data... just cached application data.

Last I knew, even on the X the only option is a factory reset. You can try Cachemate from the market to delete Dalvik.
