Flipside is a decent android beginner phone

My parent was looking for a new phone @ 2 year pricing and accidentally stumbled upon an android phone. It's her first smartphone and she had no idea of the capabilities it offers. I knew she was in the market but was pleasantly surprised when I found the Flipside on her living room table. It's snappier then my OG Droid and although Blur seems to take over as the master account on the phone I still found it easy to setup and integrate a google account.

My parent somehow managed to setup a yahoo account as the default blur account and I cant seem to delete or replace it with a google account but other then that I'm impressed with its capabilities.

I think the Flipside is a GREAT "beginers" phone. My little niece has one and it's great.

Open up settings... press the menu button on the phone then click settings then click on "accounts" then click on yahoo account and delete. You can add gmail account after.

Moto's decision to go all OMAP in their budget-midrange paid off! I agree... the Flipside is a great phone, especially for the price!
