    HTC Battery in the UK

The Google N1 store sells batteries for $25 (which is about 15). But, of course, shipping from the US to the UK is another $25. It does say that you can buy up to 5 batteries, but I can see no way to add more than one to the basket.

So where can I get the N1 battery in the UK for a decent price? Not bothered about extended or anything like that, I just want a spare.

But I'm not paying 30+ when they're on sale for half that in the US!

Buy an one (or two) from eBay, they might not last as long as the original manufacturers but as you said it's only a spare for when you need that little bit extra power. Just bought 2 x batteries and a plug in charger for about 15.00 comes from Hong Kong but delivery was within a week and just rmember most of this stuff is made in China anyway, has to be worth it even if the batteries only last 75% of the time, also, means you are not hammering the original one all of the time. Hope this helps.

We bought a few from eBay. One lasted about three hours of use on my commute (where the original battery would've been down to about 70%). The other I charged in my dock thing yesterday, took it out when charged, put it into the phone this morning and the battery indicator was already orange.

I've found a site selling what they claim are genuine HTC Desire batteries, for 17 each. I'll report back!
