I went online on Ebay and bought spare batteries with 1600 mAh vs 1400 mAh stock battery when I still had my Nexus. The extra power wasn't noticeable for me, but I never had to charge 2-3 times a day, even with heavy use.

Mmm, I'm not sure. But 2400 mAh is a HUGE battery for the nexus one. It would probably last 5-6 days for me.. the only obvious problem is that it would take forever to charge. My nook color has a pretty big battery, (somewhere around 2000 mAh) and it takes 7-8 hours to fully charge.

Fast chargers? If you mean higher voltage, all micro-USB come standard at 5 volts. I'm not sure I understand.

You'd better know how to distinguish the original one and the aftermarket one. Do not buy the aftermarket one since it will damage the phone.
