    RDT connecting to VPS

I want to use remote desktop to connect to a VPS and wondering how much data this will eat up?

Rogers data plans range from 500mb to 5gb per month.

I run 3 trading programs and skype constantly for up to 8 hours per day. I am wondering if I would be within that range there or if I would be way over by the end of the month?

Can someone give me a rough estimate of how much data I would eat up over the course of a month?

One last question... If I am within range from my home internet router connection, can I connect to the internet through that connection so I don't eat up any data with my cell phone provider (Rogers)???

So the first post is if I am away from home... and the second post is if I am at home...

Wifi at home, no issue...but then you're in front of your machines, too. Outside, on Rogers, I suspect you'll be way over the 5G/mo...I already exceed that just streaming radio and my music collection from home.
