    LED Flashlight for Froyo DOES have a widget now... and its still free.

    When refering to LED lights, my pal introduces Blink to me for SMS/Missed Call/Battery/Memory notifications. Works fantastic on N1 froyo. I am still looking for one that has Email/Gtalk notification so if someone here has one like that, PM here and I owe you a dinner indeed!

    Pop along to ebay and buy an LED flashlight for $1 that you can put on your keyring. Probably a hundred times better than anything an app on your phone can achieve
