    In case missed,

To install the new Voice Search, you need to uninstall the stock one. After uninstall, reboot then dl new from Market.

Got it working now. When I flashed a new nightly, it worked. I think they updated gaaps in the nightly.

I see that RC3 is out. I'll wait and see the reviews before jumping in.
Come here little sheep; I have a nice juicy apple for you!

    Maybe they got clock working.

The latest nightly 8/15 and one befire it wouldn't install gapps. I had to dl nightly thru RM/CWM Recovery. Then dl the latest gapps -2 from the Cyan dl site, copy it to sd card and install thru CWM as a zip. Not sure why CWM could not install gapps that came with the latest nightly. Hope this doesn't continue, or I will go back to Amon on a regular basis. It is perfect.

Is their a way to bring up the speak now interface by clicking a button, like the trackball button?

So you would click trackball button and start talking right away

you have to put it on a homescree as a widget, it is part of the google widget. Or put the app itself on a homescreen. Then you can just click it. It should also be on your keyboard.

    It should be Version 2.0.1

If you got that you could uninstall it, reboot, and redownload from Market.

    Mine is great.

Enjoying the new Voice Search, but I will still keep Edwin(been using it for several weeks now)...it's linked to Wolfram Alpha, and responds quickly for me...highly impressive to show off "Temperature in" or "Forecast for" and watch jaws drop at the near instant response. Stock VS is still laggy for me, but works great.

Ive tried all that now, thanks ken, but it still doesnt work any more than the stock version did. The listen to and the send text and the take a note all just search google for that even what it is 100% accurate to what i said. Only the ones that worked originally work just the gui has changed.

anyone any ideas why that is ?
