New youtube app not signed correctly?

    New youtube app not signed correctly?

    Running cm6, I get this error trying to install the youtube app from market. Any ideas why?

    I read somewhere that you need to flash the new GAPPS for that to work

    Here you go. I would recommend wiping the Dalvik cache as well before flashing.

    Ok this is a little off topic but is there a way to keep the old YouTube icon on the home screen and still have the update cause I like the update but I don`t really like the new icon itís to white without the little contour it had before thanks.

    Download Root Explorer. Go to System>Apps> delete YouTube.APK

    Once you are in the APPS folder, at the top click 'remount rw' and choose to delete or you'll get a "This file is read-only, you cannot delete".

    Reboot your phone.

    Re-install YouTube.
