Browsers displaying only 1/4 of page

    N1: 2.2.1

For some strange reason, the default browser is displaying text on a webpage on the left side of the page and it only takes up 1/4 of the screen. I downloaded Dolphin HD and it too is displaying text only on 1/4 of the left side of the screen.

I rebooted my phone and the problem still persists. Anyone know whats going on here? I searched to see if this problem existed, but didn't see anything.

Other applications work fine: Gmail, Marketplace, Facebook

Are you saying that you're seeing an incomplete rendering of web pages? Or is it that they are coming up very small, and putting all the content in a small, 1/4 page section of the page?

If it's the latter, then that's pretty normal for non-mobile-optimized pages. You can double tap the page, and the browser will zoom in; making it easier to read, and appear to fill the whole page.

It is the latter. This is very weird as the default browser used to load google.ca and hotmail.com normally. But, then it started loading those pages as I mentioned above.

I wonder if this is a software problem, network, or something else?

Another strange thing just happened. The browser now loads pages just fine as it used to.

    What just happened?

Serendipity? When you get down to it...the N1 is still a confus....er.....computer, so sometimes it can just freak out, I suppose. Hoping it stays fixed for ya! If not, we're (almost) always here.

WERA I don't even think you have to say almost because with the amount of people on this forum I have never seen it with 0 members online even at crazy times like 4 am so I think it's safe to say there is always someone here to help you.
