    @genuity,

    Touchdown.

    As for apps, I don't download a lot, mostly because I usually don't have the phones for long. But, here are the ones I like:

    Google Sky Map -- I just love this thing.
    Spending Monitor -- I use this to keep a record of business purchases.
    Bambuser -- Sometimes I just have to share.
    PhoneMyPC -- I know, seems a bit self interested to promote our own app, but really, we're all handling email, coding, checking forums, ALL the time. I find it easier to access my 3-monitor PC while at dinner than try to get all those accounts open on the phone.

    Nexus one support Exchange. I have use it to connect to my work mail server.

    Power Manager has to be on the list.. I never went without it on the G1.

    I'm using TOUCHDOWN... it works really well but am having some quirky issues - like emails come in and can see them on the widget on the homescreen, but can see READ emails.. still trying to figure out the app though. Also contacts download but can't see them in the app - but am able to see them in my phonebook.

    I'm an Android newbie so my list of must haves is not very long yet but I'm already addicted to the these apps:

    Meebo IM
    CalWidget for it's resizable upcoming events calendar widget
    Google's Android Finance app for stock quotes
