Email Folders - Behavior and Maintenance

Tried a search but nothing found, hope this is the right place to post:

Is there a way to change the email imap folders?

After setting up my default mobileme account in the email app. Deleted inbox mail goes to the Trash folder on the N1, but MobileMe mail has a default Deleted messages folder which is different.

Upon initial setup, everything is great, only the MobileMe Deleted folder shows up on N1's folder list. But after an email is deleted on the N1, it must just go to its default Trash folder, and both Trash and Deleted folders now show up on the N1, with future deletes going to the N1 and not MobileMe's default folder.

Bottomline is how can deleted email be directed to the other Deleted folder instead of the default one in the N1?

    did you find a solution?
I am using FastMail, and I can't believe I'm unable to set "Sent", "Trash" and "Drafts" folders, as it is now storing them locally instead of on the IMAP server

Unfortunately, no solution. Tried K9Mail as an alternative but didn't help.

Got frustrated and returned phone to Google even with the 45 restocking charge.

I like the phone but it's just not yet fully baked in.

    that is actually very sad.
I have just installed K-9 and it does allow me to set these folders.
Also it supports IMAP IDLE push, which is great as I had to poll the server with my iPhone.
Only the interface is very ugly...

    nexus google one mail client

    it is sad ....
there is no good mail app for google nexus one
even the built-in mail client does not sort the folders
so your best bet would be to do what i do with my yahoo account
download a K9 or MailDroid for notification
and at the same time use bookmark for yahoo mail web page right from your home screen to check all the mail folders

    Question.

Has this been resolved? I tried going to Yahoo! and setting up mail collector, so that I can use sort my mail into folders, but apparently the Yahoo! mail collector is now broken...
