Yes, I tried it several times and actually worked.

By the way, check out the Android Market for "Google Buzz" app. It fires up buzz.google.com quicker than manually opening a browser window.

I used Buzz today and flooded my area with buzz's xD
Someone knows something about older buzz's being removed sooner or later? The map will be overbuzzed if it doesnt get deleted

    Why?

Serious question... I took a look at maps with all the buzzes and for the life of me I don't see the point. Dozens of "getting gas right now" or "watching TV".

    I really don't understand...

People like to read stuff like that, its pretty intresting i mean besides the "pumping gas and watching tv" what makes this one sweet as well is people in your location can post up hot spots to eat, watching out for cop traps between y and x and you can post pics whatever it is. its pretty intersting while you sitting there and you pop open google maps to see whats going on in your area only or check around the whole world. Of course everything is not for everyone, i my self don't like twitter, but this i like.

I agree with sotorious that it's interesting to know about others but this is good when you have necessary security and privacy.
I think Google Buzz leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the very basic features are missing from this product. Google who have been champions of Privacy have failed miserably in Google buzz.

Read this for all the security and privacy concerns about Google buzz:
