Until Google finds a way of stopping apps from being copied, that is why it's design to only be installed within the phone; (if it's on a card, you can copy on to pc etc.)

    then... NO! is the answer.

I thought people already copy apps. And making it impossible to copy apps, I find that hard to do. Look at DVD copy protection, thats a joke right there. Companies come out with new ways to encode every week and before it even hits the streets, the "new" encoding is already hacked.

Yep! I agree, but this is the reason behind Google using the Android phone internal memory as an app storage and not the SDcard.

If you download e-mails (pop3) with attachments, it will easily reach the limit.

I hope Google can do something about it, allow the mails to be stored in the SD card. I don't have a lot apps but i do use N1 to access my e-mails (work related) when I am not in the office.

I understand we have to do housekeeping but the existing limit is way too low.

Limit of application storage is disappointing

And so this will be one of the reasons Nexus One can never be better then Iphone. Let alone calendar and tasks can't be synced. I feel there is still a looong way to go before Nexus One can really compete with Iphone.
