    I cant find my music can some one please help me

    Hi Im a newbie to my Nexus one..
    I have created a file in the root and called it music
    I have added about 70 songs from windows media player but when I go into my phone
    I cannot find the music..There is a file created but my palyer it says its empty and I have no muisc there
    But I know its somewhere as I can see the file and the music but I cant seem to play or find the installed tunes? My player doesnt seem to find the files either???
    frustrated

    Maybe its the file type (i.e the extension). Have you got some mp3 files ... or are they mp3's already that you are referring to?

    Im not sure I thought they would automatically be changed to MP3 from the cd i burned them off on to my pc and windows media player
    so Im hoping they have transferred to my phone as MP3 too but??
    I thought there would be a way of accessing your data on the SD card via your phone without having to hook up to pc?
    IS there??

    Even if you have other files residing on the SD card, your phone (i.e. music player) will only "see" MP3 files.


    Suggest you go back to your computer and convert all your audio files to MP3, and transfer them to the SD card again (and delete the others.) There are many free audio file converts available. WMP will do it.
