What native formats does the nexus one support. not rooted, just the gallery player. I know .3gp is one, but does it support .mp4 and other video formats? without additional encoders and apps.

Mono/Stereo standard bit rates up to 160 kbps and sampling rates from 8 to 48kHz
    AMR-NB 4.75 to 12.2 kbps sampled @ 8kHz, AMR-WB 9 rates from 6.60 kbit/s to 23.85 kbit/s sampled @ 16kHz.
MP3 Mono/Stereo 8-320Kbps constant (CBR) or variable bit-rate (VBR), MIDI SMF (Type 0 and 1)
    DLS Version 1 and 2
    XMF/Mobile XMF

There are no plugins for the Nexus for unsupported formats...

Your best bet will be to try the link below, taken from our FAQ.

Oh well, shame. Maybe one day there will be. I'm OK for video conversions, just wondered if it was possible without converting.

I had to abandon my first account, it wouldn't login (with the right password) anymore. Now I'm scared to close this browser session, I expect this one won't log back in either. Yes I've seen the cookies FAQ, didn't help.
