    The deed is done.

I finished rooting and have been installing new apps and learning the new system this evening. There's still a lot to learn, even simple things from pre-root I forgot, like how to freaking modify the small icons in the Home++ scroller toolbar. It's driving me nuts. :D ... but I'll figure it out.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the forums here for all their help to newbies like me. And especially to Mr. Search Bar for helping me learn from others questions!

And installing keyboards when your running apps2sd. I keep clicking on the APK to install them via root manager and they just don't take effect. anyone have thoughts about this?

to install the APKS i use Astro file manager to open them on the phone, Just tap on them from the SD card and it should pop up with the install instructions. And to add or remove the icons on the bottom navigation bar on Home++ just press the menu key from your home screen go to preferences and the 3rd option should be power strip.

Hey Neon, do you know where the files get dropped when your using apps2sd on Cyanogen? I moved a few .apk files over (attached via mounted usb) to the phone but when I search in Root Explorer for their names they don't show up and the file structure on Root Explorer doesn't look the same as the files I see on my laptop when I'm mounted and looking at the phone files.
