Question Can you awesome people help me out? :)

ok, so i'm running the cyanogenmod 5.0.5.3 ROM. this rom changes the power control widget and settings to a cyan color. I changed it back to the stock green because of a wallpaper and what not like this: [MOD] Original Green Power Control widget for CM5.0.5.3 - xda-developers

now i tried using the Settings.apk from 5.0.5.3 and push it back: xda-developers - View Single Post - [ROM] CyanogenMod-5: Kang Central Station (STABLE) [03/23/2010 / 5.0.5.3]

but it's not changing the colors back to cyan?? can anyone help me out? i really want to change it back to cyan!

There is a Clear one with Cyanogen Blue buttons that I use. It can be applied with Metamorph

The info and Download can be found here

Can't you just reflash the ROM again to get it back?

The easiest way would be to do a Nandroid backup, or reload the Cyanogen rom, and put back on whatever theme you want WITHOUT the green powerstrip.

Ok...I got it after a little fussing around. I just replaced some images in the new Settings.apk with ones from the apk in the original rom.

This will make your power control widget icons green again!

Attached are 2 zip files, each are specifically for CM v5.0.5.3 and CM v5.0.6 respectively. Just download for your version, unzip the attached file, and there should be a "Settings.apk" file. Place this in your Android SDK tools directory then push on to phone using ADB with USB debugging on...commands are:

    adb devices
    adb remount
    adb push Settings.apk /system/app
    adb reboot

When the phone reboots, you'll probably see that the power control widget has disappeared (it did for me); just long-press the home screen, select widgets, and select power control. It should come back in all of it's green glory!

    Enjoy!!
