Hey pro's,
here is how i am planning to act on my Nexus....can you guys check it and tell me if im right? Goal is to root and install CM...
1. Unlock Bootloader
2. Install Recovery image from Amon Ra
3. Install ROM Manager
4. Let rom manager install CM
Root will be done by #1. , is that right?
Are my steps right?

Yes once the Bootloader is unlocked it is Rooted and there is no turning back.
Step 2.5 Do a Nandroid Backup. Then If something unexpected happens you will have a backup.
Step 3.5 Do a Wipe before you install Cyanogen Mod
Step 5 Flash Google Apps
Step 6 Get SetCpu from XDA or the Market. Its great for saving some battery or setting up OC

If you dont flash the Gapps Addon you wont have the Android Market.
This link can explain it better than I can. You also must flash the radio image before you flash cyanogen.

SliceBurgSlim, correct me if I'm wrong, but could you add a 1.1 step after bootloader unlock. Install Titanium backup, then restore backup as a Step 7 to get all your previously installed apps (including Google apps) back on the phone?

This is a good idea however I dont think titanium will give you Gapps on a fresh install of Cyanogen. Gapps must be flashed in recovery to have access to the market. Otherwise there will be no market app on your phone.

Also I dont think you can actually use titanium until you have root AND the superuser app installed. Superuser app comes with cyanogen.
