    Rom Question

I have installed the HTC Sense rom onto my nexus one. Right now it shows I'm using the 2G network. How do I switch from 2G to 3G on the new rom? When I go to Settings>Wireless & Networks>Mobile Networks>Network Mode, it's showing that I'm using the GSM only network. If I choose the 'WCDMA only' option or the 'GSM/WCDMA auto' option, will either of those switch me from 2G to 3G?

"WCDMA Preferred" will always choose the best available.

When I choose "WCDMA preferred" it doesn't say 3G for some reason. It just says "xH" at the top where the 3G should be. Is that the same thing?

True HSPA is referred to as "3.5G" but some roms just replace the image of "3G" with "H". In both cases, "H" >= "3G" so you're good to go.
