What update is it installing, since it says update complete.

    Are you using Clockwork?

If google addons, that happened to me. Gapps would not install two straight times along with Rom. I had to pull battery, reboot, then download latest gapps to pc and copy to phone's sd card. Then open Rom Manager and flash the gapps zip from sd card.

    Latest dl's for CM6:

    SubyWill and nexgoose,

Gotta call it a nite, good luck on your phone issues!

Tomorrow I flash RC3 and gapps, probably thru AmonRa, since I had problems with gapps in Clockwork, as mentioned above.

Try this. Go to the CW app and under settings, check Advanced settings. then go back to the main screen and select "fix permissions" That will take about 5-10 minutes. Then reboot. Flash Clockwork Recovery again. After that, try installing RC3 again.

I'm gonna call it a night too. Good luck.
Come here little sheep; I have a nice juicy apple for you!

    both lol.

i haven't done anything with my phone for a while. and i have a new computer so it doesn't have the sdk i installed a while ago on my old computer.

i forgot how to do a lot!

i'm trying to figure out how to install the sdk because i want to flash the newer amonra recovery
Isn't it amazing/sad how quickley you can forget how to do this kind of stuff if you put it down for a while :/

I'm gonna try flashing rc3 with clockworkmod even though you guys mentioned having some trouble, and even though I was getting stuck in clockwork recovery lastnight. I just don't know enough about it to know why, so I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

    EDIT:
Worked, I'm on RC3!! seems really polished, only problem was a force quit on 720p recording..
