    Dam,

Now I do feel stupid, thanks for that. Found it.

So what benefits does the Wildmonk have over the Kernel I have?

I have downloaded the Wildmonk file as per your instructions.

Lost at the Nandroid Backup step, am I supposed to download this or can I use Rom Manager or Titanium back up?

This is all new to me.

    Many Thanks,

    Gezza.

A Nandroid backup is a backup that backups ALL your settings/apps/and ROM. You boot into recovery and you will see an option that says NANDROID.

Select it and click backup before you flash. This is just in-case your phone were to be stuck in a bootloop or if you cannot access your phone at all. NANDROID would restore your phone to the state it was when you backed it up.

After you do the NANDROID backup, continue with the instructions or continue flashing whatever you want to flash.

No worries, I never backed up my STOCK rom either. I backed up CM6 RC2 & RC3. If I want stock, I'll just use a STOCK ROM from XDA and flash it. Same goes with my recovery.

I have no intentions of going back to stock though.

    Gezza,
Select Reboot into recovery and once you get to that screen select NANDROID backup.

Go to the market and download SetCPU.

Open it up and you can use the two sliders on the screen to set the MAXIMUM and MINIMUM.

I highly recommend not to OVER CLOCK TO THE MAX. Stay at 1190 or BELOW. 1257 MHz causes the phone to freeze and can permanently damage your phone.

    You're welcome btw!

    Hey Sheanzy,

    Ok got the app,

Thanks so much for your help, to date.

Can I see what your settings are for Setcpu?

I did see them, but can't find the post.

    Many Thanks,

    Gezza.
