Nightlies are incremental updates to the current Release Candidate (RC3). They are supposed to be experimental but usually fix bugs in previous nightlies. These nightlies are like building blocks to the next Release candidate or Final release. So they have added features than previous ones.
RC3 does have 720p and comes with a custom kernal, but some of us like the wildmonks kernals that you have to flash yourself.
Once you have flashed CM6 RC3, you can start flashing nightlies the sameway. However, you don't have to do a full wipe between nightlies.
One more question, what with the 720p for the kernals? Does that just mean the Kernals support 720p
And if I revert back to stock Froyo, will my kernals also go back to original?
It better be worth it dammit.

The kernal that comes with CM6 will support 720p. If you recover back to stock froyo, you will still have the original kernal. When you made a back up of your stock rom, you made a exact photocopy of it.

Did you back up your rom? What was the last screen you saw before the android/box/arrow screen?

I might add that the install is fully yellow. Should I take the battery out? These are the reason why I didn't want to root, so I hope it's not bricked. I can hit the power button and it will just show the android and box, but if I hit it again it will so the back and loading info.
So how should I go about this y'all.

PS I want this new RC3, I think my original question was does this new download give the NEXUS ONE A STRONGER RADIO?
Thanks again
I don't think so on the radio, no need to install a different kernal, you will need to reinstall gapps, RC3 doesn't include it. I would dl the latest nightly.

It takes a good 10 to 15 min to do the backup and installing new rom. What does the loading info say? And don't worry..it's not bricked. Even an aggie can't brick this.
BTW, you hear about the aggie that threw a rock at the ground?
He missed.

Shouldn't be stuck for that long.
You have have to pull the battery and reboot. It will go back to your stock rom. Then open rom manager, menu>settings> check Advanced Mode. Go back to rom manager main screen> fix permissions. This will take about 10 minutes. Then reboot.
EDIT: I see that SBS is here. He's the expert, so I'd listen to him first
But you are not bricked.

Well you already had the froyo radio so there is no way its bricked. Sounds like something went wrong with rom manager. I agree tho it shouldn't take that long. did you make a nandroid before flashing cm6?
