Nandroid is part of the custom recovery. not separate.
If you were to restore, you would have everything back from the time you backed up. texts and all
THANK YOU ALL FOR Y'ALL HELP. SOONERS AND ALL!!! I WILL HAVE TO PLAY WITH THIS. I BEEN DYING TO GET THE BLACK FACEBOOK WIDGET AND NOW I CAN AND I SEE I NO LONGER NEED BLINK ALTHOUGH I DID LIKE THAT IT CHANGED MY COLOR FOR INCOMING CALLS. CM6 doesnt have a setting for missed calls?
No Problem Big Homie!
You are wondering if there is a LED light setting for missed calls? I dont see one in the CM settings. I agree tho its always blinking light blue when i have a missed call/voicemail. Wish I could change that...
Go to [CyanogenMod Setting] [User Interface] [LED] and make sure you don't drool over your trackball.

Don't know about all nightlies and just RC3. But on the 8/25 and a few before, I believe, there is a missed call led notification under user interface, led notifications. It use to be called dialer a few nightlies back, and only was activated after your first incoming call. Before that it wasn't there. There now seems to an led option for many of my apps.
Also, I wish there was a guide on RM/CWM. If you hit menu/settings while on the main cwm page there is an erase recovery option. Not sure how that works either.

f0ul99,
It is a lazy way of saying Rom Manager and ClockworkMod Recovery.
