Hey Sheanzy, do you think you can add to your truly great How to page.

    How to flash a radio.

I'm not really sure, so far I have followed all your directions, with no problems.

    Ok Back to this Radio.

    What does it do, exactly.

I have having a few problems with my Nexus.

    1. FC happens 5 times a day, only when trying to access certain apps.
    2. The Screen Direction, drives my crazy, if I turn the screen it rotates, but when I try to get it to go back, needs a lot of swearing to get it to go back.

    3. I have had 2 random re-boot, just out of the blue, the phone shuts down and then reboots.

    4. The Live wallpaper always resets to the default, every time I plug into the USB, or re-boot.

Sorry if this in not the place to talk about these issues, not sure what is casing them.

Let me know what you think,

    Gezza.
Sorry Gezza. I'm not going to include a tutorial on how to flash the radio. There are reasons why.

    1. It's very similar to flashing a ROM/GAPPS.
    2. I don't want others to try and flash a radio and brick their phone.

As Slim said, It's not worth the risk. Someone said earlier that there are just as many negative posts about the Korean radio. If you don't have issues with the radio you have, then I suggest you stick to your current radio.

If you do choose to flash a radio beyond these forums, make sure you know how to flash with ADB. I do know how to flash the radio and can easily make the tutorial, but in my opinion, it's really not worth the time and effort.

    Hey Sheanzy,

What if I want to go back to the Radio that you have.

If I PM you, will you show me how back to 12_7?

Dam what the hell does the Radio do anyway.

I'm sure it has something to do with 3g and downloading/Uploading.

    Thanks,

    Gezza.

    Ok, Big Problem,

How do you reset the Setcpu.

Dam - set it 1267 - now I get frozen screen and reboots.

Please help me reset this thing.

Last time I did this the SetCPU reset back to 998, this time it is stuck on 1267.

    Help,

    Gezza.

    OK Fixed,

Tried removing the battery, but as soon as the phone got to the menu the Setcpu kicked in. Then comes the Freeze then comes reboot, over and over.

Managed to get to it just before it reset, I reset it back to 1190.

Managed to get the SetCPU back to 1190.

    Lesson learned, people.

Dam that is the last time I do that.

    Gezza.

Don't worry some must've done the same like you too. Curiosity then when the "dragon" boot-loop-kick you, panic time

Hi. Im new to this forum and rooting. Thank you for posting the instructions on rooting. i just rooted a couple of days ago and really apreciated this thread, could not have done it without it.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what i would need to do to switch ROMs. I am currently on CM6 RC3, and i was on stock froyo before this. I want to try out enomther's ROM, which needs Amon RA image. would I be able to do this using ROM manager and the same method that Sheanzy posted?

    Its simple.

    First make a Nandroid backup

Then put the zip for the rom on the root of your SD card

Then reboot into recovery, do a full wipe and flash the rom.

    Pretty sure that's it!

    Slim,

A question: Since I already had Amon on my phone flashed thru ADB, it was there as an alternative, and yes, easy to switch back and forth. If you don't already have it, is it there by default. If you are same as me, maybe some of the one clickers know. Just curious. If not, can you get Amon as a .zip? Haven't looked into that. Amon is rock solid.
