Yes.... like I said.... for the most part, the phones are identical. If people are over clocking, that's a real difference. There is normally a logical explanation why one person has issues and another does not.

Totally off-topic but what makes me LOL is that Telstra and Telus is selling the HTC Desire for 700+$ off contract. It will work on AT&T's network. So if I would want to buy another Nexus One, I'd just go off and buy a HTC Desire. 200$+ more than the Nexus One, but it works on AT&T 3G networks, or so they say.
Plus, the desire is pretty much hardware and physically identical to the Nexus.
Why did I just type that? Not sure...just a heads up

I will recommend you to check out this thread: http://www.nexusoneforum.net/forum/n...adventure.html
Some notable potential with CM6:
-Trackball color notifications
*Able to assign color notification to many applications such as GMAIL,EMIAL,MESSAGING,MISSED CALL,VOICEMAIL, ECT.
-Cyanogen Mod personal settings
*Trackball settings
*Blacklist (block numbers)
*Customization of your status bar and other tweaks
-CAMERA
*Many features within the camera applications
*720p HD Capability (VERY NICE!)
-ROOT APPLICATIONS
*Some are located here: 12 Essential Applications for your Rooted Android device
-THEMES
*You are able to full customize your Nexus One by flashing custom themes on top of the ROM you have: Nexus One Themes and Apps - xda-developers
Hope that helps a little. There is much more. Just toy around with it and you'll realize its potential!

"Kang-o-rama 1.0" worked quite well for me,
I had a few random restarts too, but overall a good experience due to all the plus points over stock froyo.
Now I decided to flash the Sense ROM from "eViL's NXSense v.1.18".
Lets see how that experience goes
P.S.
Once you go "ROOT" you never go back

I've read the 407 posts prior to this one on how to root my Nexus One. Even after following the 14 steps Sheanzy clearly wrote at the beginning I goy stuck. Even though Sheanzy doesn't knew me, I messaged him and he had the patience and courtesy of walking me through reinstalling CM6. My problem? I read, but didn't followed the steps. =) To Sheanzy, thanks again for being such a good teacher.
