So this 1 Click Root app still works?
[PHONE] Nexus 4
[ROM] CM11 Nightlies

[TABLET] Nexus 7
[ROM] CM11 Nightlies
Yes it worked for my Nexus FRG83D
After i rooted it, it became FRG83![]()
That's interesting. How you managed to root your phone with easy root app if exploit which it uses for rooting is closed with the 2.2.1 update?
From xda topic (link in the first post)
Anyone else succeeded with rooting their 2.2.1 devices with this tool? Anyone knows an alternative for it? I tried SuperOneClick, no success: it stucks at "getting mount path". Unrevoked doesn't seem to support Nexus One.Since Google patched the loop hole in 2.2.1, this app is no longer working for newer builds. For this reason the developer has stopped supporting the app. If you still want to use this, feel free to do so. It would not harm anything.
However if it doesn't root your phone, there are numerous other methods of rooting out there. I suggest SuperOneClick or unrevoked.
Oh sorry i didnt use this method, used the Super One Click method How To: Root Your Android Phone (SuperOneClick Method) | TheUnlockr
"Getting mount path" ? Try to enable the connection of the phone with the sd card =)
I've rooted it yesterday using this method: http://www.nexusoneforum.net/forum/n...ootloader.html
Worked perfectly, and despite my phone info still reads I have FRG83D, its now rooted, I'm happy my titanium backup works again.
