What desktop program do you use, and does it restore all your screen icons to original configuration, settings, folders included. If you are not on wifi at home, it may take a little longer for dl'ing.

No the reloading is pretty much painless cause Titanium does a great job stalling everything back. My problem is going through all my contact and reestablishing facebook cause that doesn't get loaded back in place. Setting up my widgets, password, go through my apps to make sure they all show installed in the market, going through my apps that are user name activated and turning back on, restarting Mobile Defense.

Not a headache thank goodness to Titanium, but just time consuming.

Ok, I don't have facebook. But, when you run and restore all data/apps with TB then do a refresh, I think it brings all the little icons back like M and the smiley.

I use LauncherPro and back it up prior also. When I first rerun it, it does have all my contacts, password apps all there along with the screen layouts. You may just have some things different then me.

Yes. Get Root Explorer. They are located in system/app folder. You must remount as R/W first tho.

Just make sure you don't delete any vital system apps. Could really mess ya phone up if you delete the wrong thing.

It's a lot easier to use Titanium backup. You can backup the app, then uninstall it. If you ever need it back, you can also restore it.

    Hey Sliceburgslim,

I've just noticed that you have changed your Kernel.

    [KERNEL] WildMonks 2.6.35.4_SVS-950mV_CFS_AXI_NoAB_720p_1113MHz.

    There are just so many.

Why did you choose that one and not the 1228Mhz?

    Thanks,

    Gezza.

    Easy,

That 1228 Kernel was a Test Kernel. The new one is not a Test kernel and its one of the most recent updated kernels provided by Wildmonks.

    Thanks for the reply,

    OK, 925 vrs 950 vrs 975mV.

    Why 950mV??

Not even sure what it does.

Did you notice any improvement from the previous kernel?

I've always had pretty good success with the 950mV kernels.

But it can vary from phone to phone. I have noticed a lil better vid quality with this kernel. Battery life seems to be a lil worse tho but I might just need to do a Power Cycle. Its been over 2 months since I last did it.

Kinda just have to test them out yourself to see what works best for your N1
