    Nobby,

    How are you trying to get it to work?

    Open camera in portrait mode, tap on icon in lower right of screen. You will see three choices under Focus. One is Touch.

    But from a non video/camera guy, what is advantage of Touch over auto?

    it just allow me to eliminate things in my range, being able to focus in on my target without having to centre on it is a big help

    Yes the touch focus is a big pro for me as i use it a lot on my cameras & security systems, i just find it a lot easier to switch my shots.

    For example if i am taking a picture of a car i like on a street and take the picture but then notice a cat in a corner i can just focus on that instead of moving and either loosing the good light or spooking the cat haha but you can also use it for focus blur by focusing on the cat and moving fast before the picture, what you get is a puuurfect cat and a blurred out background bringing out the quality in the cat

    I was upgrading from rc3 - didn't realise there was no need to wipe. All worked out ok in the end, just took a while to sort out.

    Ok. It finally showed up in mine. thanks for the recommendation to clear the download cache. running a titanium backup then upgrading now.
