Sorry to hear of your illness, Ken. I hope all will be well soon. Keep us posted, ok?
Thanks WERA689 and everyone,
Survived a major heart attack and open back surgey with rods and screws. This will be easy.
My current project is: I have some custom ringtones in Menu/Settings/Sound/Phone Ringtone that don't show on the sd or root explorer. I put them on phone thru a ringtone app and convering with iTunes. They don't even have the right song tied to the title. Almost like they multi duplicated.
Trying to figure out how I delete them. My guess is I can't unless I restore. Luckily I did a bu on the 18th and was in the hospital right after that. So it is fresh.

eViL has dropped 1.19.1 and it includes the updated GApps and working quickoffice. I'm flashing Amon_RA to try and partition EXT3 (instead of EXT2) and see if I get any better performance with A2SD. Supposedly, there may be some battery life savings when using EXT3 file structure.
Ok... so I am late to the party! 1.18 was working great for me with terrific battery life and everything working as expected. Hopefully I won't have too much trouble with 1.19.1, but it looks like there might be some tweaking to do, might go back to 1.18 if I need.
I did successfully change my partition to EXT3 using Amon_RA and then flashed back to ClockworkMod. Here is what I did:
Backup SD Card
Flash Alternate Recovery
(ROM Manager Features will be unavailable: OK)
Power - Reboot - Recovery
-SD:ext2 to ext3
"Upgrade ext2 to ext3
Press trackball to confirm,
any other key to abort."
Upgrading ext2 to ext3: .......... (about 30 seconds)
Ext upgrade complete!
Reboot system now
SD Card was NOT wiped!
ROM Manager - Flash ClockworkMod Recovery

Updated Kernel for 1.19.1 WiFi issues:
What are your setcpu settings if I can ask? I noticed that when I was running v1.18 I set everything to performance and began to get some force closes. Also have you changed your vmheap size from 32 to 24? I honestly think this is when v1.18 began to crap out on me.
Oh and is there any way to get v1.17 now that a higher version is out? Might want to try that version if I can get my hands on it.
Have a good day.

So I did a clean install of 1.18. This time flashlight worked.
Ran then a2sd commands and that worked as well.
From the market, Terminal Emulator by ZTA Technologies, Inc Version 1.0 still force closed when I tried to open.
However, Android Terminal Emulator in the market by Jack Palevich Version 1.0.17 worked like a charm.
Still no SetCPU and the changelog at xda reads:
Kernel with older wifi but without cpu idle pm
Maybe thats why?
Also, it says gapps included, but a lot of google apps like Voice and Maps are missing. Am I only seeing this?
Dunno, if I should flash 1.19.1, or go to 1.17 and then 1.19.1?

I screwed up somewhere when flashing 1.19.1 as my exchange account just keeps syncing and syncing, draining battery in the process. Also, now I have the Froyo lockscreen (with the slide to unlock, slide to silence) which the eViL forum says isn't possible on a Sense ROM because of how intergrated the lock screen is to Sense! :rofl3:
I might be looking at a reflash again this afternoon.
