Just installed 11.26 and all seems to be working fine. One thing, can anyone advise how to disable automatic cpu setting so I can use setcpu to OC?

    Thanks,

Disregard. Dont know why but sometimes (not only this rom) that when I install setcpu and open the program that it is set on like a really low setting making the system drag. Oh well it seems to have righted itself.

    Hey DR,

For some strange reason, mine also defaults to 998 even though I have it set at 1113.

I just move the slider back to 1113 and it's right again.

Just ran some tests and it is indeed mighty fast compared to before.

Quadrant 1673, Linpack 38. No tweaks or tricks.

This is with the standard Kernel.

Really? Wow thats great. Perhaps I had a bad install. Always do a fresh install and wipe at least 3 times for best results but maybe this one wasnt the best. I put all my apps in one folder and when I scroll through them it is extremely slow and jittery. I added one of wildmonks kernels that I normally use to oc to 1152 and i get great benchmark scores 1700+ but still that folder remains slow and jittery. Beats me.

    Hey DR,

You must be using the standard Miui launcher, I am still using Launcher
Pro, I go into settings, advance and there you set the speed for opening.

I set mine just under the fastest speed, I think there are 3 to set.

    Mine scroll pretty smoothly.

I set up LPP and its working superfast. Dont know what's up with the folder being slow but LPP takes care of it. I was really trying to like the stock miui launcher but Gosh its hard. I hate using LPP with miui as I feel it takes from the rom but oh well. I can switch back and forth.

Hey Android. When running the stock launcher I put all my apps in one folder and that folder was extremely laggy when trying to navigate through it. I even updated the kernel to one of wildmonks latest 1152MHz (big fan of that one) and even though benchmarks show great that one folder was still very choppy and laggy. Does this sound right to you or perhaps a bad install?

All my folders have been fine. The biggest folder I have has 14 apps in it and no issues. I don't if maybe it's the folder itself for you or an app maybe that's slowing it down?

for 11.19 and 11.26 and didn't do a factory reset. Just overlaying and clearing my cache and Dalvik. I also am using the a2sd+

MIUI is a bit laggy when first booting up but once all the widgets are loaded, everything runs pretty fast.
