    Rule #1 Always backup.

Rod says no need to wipe. This will mean everything is the same as before.

    1. Titanium Backup - Backup all Apps and Data.
    2. Nandroid Backup
    3. Back up your entire SD Card to your computer.

Download the latest 1.6.5 to your computer.
    Transfer file to your SD-Card
    I use QuickBoot.

Download QuickBoot from the Market (this makes recovery access easier)
    -Open QuickBoot
    -Select Recovery
-Once in recovery, Select install zip from sdcard(FOURTH OPTION)
-Then select "Choose zip from sdcard"(SECOND OPTION)
-Select the Kernel that you dragged onto your sdcard

    Should be something like this:
    no
    no
    no
    no
    no
    yes (Rod - Blah 1.6.5Final)
    no
    no
    ---------
    You're phone will then flash.

Then after hit the top power button to get back to Reboot.
    Confirm with Trackball.

    Reboot.

    Enjoy,

    Gezza.
Nearly done, just need to apply the update to the SD card but now it's showing that I don't have enough space. Since I backed everything up, should I try to delete (format) the SD card then apply everything back, then try to apply the new update? Or is there possibly something else I need to delete?

    Hey TG,

I found if you look in Clockworkmod in backups, all your backups are there.

I just kept the last 3, found out I had 8. I copied mine to my computer and made a Nexus File.

    I ended up with 2.47Gig, before I had 147mb.

I would probably wait for about an hour, if you can. 1.6.6 out soon.

Rod is fixing the Facebook Updates and Sync issues.

If you can't wait, then proceed with what you have 1.6.5.

    Good Luck,

    Gezza.

Did you wipe first or did you flash 1.6.6 over 1.6.5?

    Hey Guys,

I'm pretty sure 1.6.6 is just a few updates added to 1.6.5.

So Rod probably left the build number the same.

Mainly added the Facebook update and Sync.

If you have FB updated to 1.4 and you can sync your contacts it's the right one.

That's what I think is going on because I do have 1.4 and it does sync. Thanks for confirming.
