    Hey Guys,

Just wondering if you could list the steps to Install this Rom.

I see that there a few tricky bits here and there. EXT3 seems to be coming up a fair bit.

If some one can post, I'm keen to try this ROM.
Does this ROM keep all your apps, are there some included.

I just flashed rod's 1.1 all is perfect no problems. Just need to get my bookmarks back somehow or redo. Links broke.

I used normal flash steps, although I wiped everything twice thru CWMod recovery, including the ones under Advanced. Right after flashing I rebooted again. Did gapps signins. Then ran Term Emul and used Dark Tremor to move dalvik apps to sd ext. Then noswap. Then just started setting up screens with Folder Organizer.

Now I need to research themes/widgets/tweaks ect

Interesting. I thought a2sd+ didn't require any setup. Now I see after restoring 80 some apps through TB that I only have 50MB available via Internal Phone storage. I like how "SD Card & phone storage settings" has A2SD+ Total and Available space listed. Do you have a link to the xda post regarding DT a2sd+ moving dalvik in this rom? or is it the same a2sd cachesd command?

You can install this via ROM manager, just make sure you choose "Wipe Data and Cache". Here are the steps to make sure you have the correct partitioning on your SD card.

Backup SD card by copying entire contents to your computer.

[Optional Step] Launch ROM Manager and partition EXT
NOTE: This creates a EXT2 partition. New instructions for EXT3 using Amon_RA will be out soon here: Post 75891
    a. Partition SD Card
    b. EXT Size: 512 MB
    c. Swap Size: 0MB
    d. Partitioning your SD Card will wipe ALL the data on your card, are you sure?: OK
    e. phone will automatically reboot, once recovery is finished
    f. Restore SD card by copying entire contents back from computer
Possible better way using Windows freeware tool: MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition

    Nick,

Right after flash and my first reboot I ran this:

    Go into terminal and type;
    su
    a2sd check
    a2sd reinstall

    Your phone should auto reboot,
enter terminal again and type: (I had to reboot here)

    su
    a2sd check
    a2sd zipalign
    a2sd cachesd

I have 132 apps and 153mb free internal storage. Deleted the old eVil htc apps thru TB and am over 5mb on sys storage.

Only thing I lost is the links to my bookmarks. Can't find any other way to restore than deleting all and starting over. When i click on one it says forbidden.

Well I guess it is any web link thru google. Forbidden access denied to that link.

Apache Server at www.google.com Port 80

    All else is perfect.

Make sure you fully wipe twice per Rod's OP page.

Just wondering if you did, where did it stack up.

The amount of Roms avail now are making my head spin.

I liked Enoms ROM. I just was at a point where I wanted Sense, so I guess I didn't give Enom much of a chance. Enoms ROM is something of a stripped down speed machine with a whole bunch of custimization under spare parts. I really am trying to find the best balance of speed and battery, and right now, I think MIUI is it. I still haven't found a replacement for all of the Sense Widgets, but I did just purchase Launcher Pro Plus and they have done a great job with their People widget, and Friends widget.

Any one using a good Clock replacement app that is more like Sense World Clock? I am looking for a good all in one, alarm, world clock, timer, stopwatch.

    Thanks!

I read that, but didn't follow directions

Ok. I open terminal and run this:

    a2sd check
    a2sd zipalign
    a2sd noswap
    a2sd cachesd

Reboot happens automatically. Note, I run a2sd noswap because I created a swap partition when formating my EXT3 (I'll advised, create a 0MB Swap). I went from 53MB available internal to 132MB and 338MB available A2SD+ to 261MB. I'd say that it worked!

Interesting that Dalvik is copied via terminal before reboot and reboot happens very fast. With old DT, the command would reboot the phone right away and Dalvik is copied to SD during reboot and you sit on the boot animation for a long time. I thought something was wrong, but glad I waited.

    Hey Guys,

Need some help with the Instructions.

I understand all except Step F.

So you make a new EXT2, does anything go to this new EXT.

Where does the Backup data go back to??

    Thanks,

This post is what really had me flash in the first place. Are you using 0.9.30 or Rod's? Rod's has a Green glow that I don't really like. Also, would love to change the MMS app on the lock screen (to Google Voice, but I'm sure a lot of people would like this for Handcent or whatever).
