I'm not sure... I use TB without issue. Are you sure the SD card is mounted properly?

right got round my problem but now i have another that's a bit of a B, i installed the ROM and at first boot i configured A2SD, then installed ROM manager and installed all the new gear (market, radio, Kernal, music player ect) then after another restart i installed Titanium and restored my backup but the apps refuse to go onto the card and somehow i am left with 20mb left on internal and 130/500mb left on card :S

I don't think the entire app goes on the card. If you use the Froyo technique of "Move to SD" you'll notice the memory footprint drops... but doesn't become 0. I think some of the app moves to the card and some remains on the phone. I don't know how or why or anything but that's what it seems. And using A2SD does the same thing.

Even though I see my EXT3 partition get filled when I add apps, I see internal memory drop too. Maybe I'm doing something wrong... but it's still better than nothing.

    Thank you ken
I'm doing a bit of research seems, 2.5.2 was the last stable release...

but I, need to partition my sd card and install some other stuff

The setup doesn't seem to be very easy, I wish I could get step by step instructions... Know any url with a dependable method using cwm 2.5.1.4?

    Aseems,

Are you asking for a partitioning guide, I can do that.

2.5.1.4 has been the best for me with any rom--recommend it--I think you can flash it thru RM menu under all ClockworkMod recoveries. The versions are there, just haven't done it that way.

Let me know on the sd card partition guide if you want that. I am not on CW now, but should be no issue.

As you probably have already figured out--good to read over OP pages and last 20 pages of new rom threads before flashing. Some have different methods. Like, do they include Dark Tremor or do you flash it. Is Google apps included or not and which version do I flash for that rom. I always wipe 3 times (everything) before flashing new rom, once doesn't always do it.

I not only make bu's of phone now before flashing, I also bu sd card regularly.

A quick note just in case you venture off to partitioning--if you want to try sense/desire roms do a 1gb partition and always use 0 for swap. Partitioning will wipe sd card so back it up first. I also do the formatting outside the phone with sdformatter from web and a card reader. It is more thorough than formatting with CW or Amon before partitioning. If you use sdformatter the settings are important and I can tell you what they are or should be in pdf manual.

You're right about 2.5.2. I was on 2.3.2 and just upgraded to 2.5.2 as 2.6.1 isn't sounding all that great. I tried CM7 RC1 but I couldn't go back... not after this MIUI.

    I partitioned my card with 32MB swap, 512MB EXT3 but I don't know if it's working properly...

    You should use 0 swap

Back up sdcard first--but, normally changing swaps won't lose anything--better safe than sorry though
