RoDrIgUeZsTyLe´s MIUIMOD [V1] Blazing Fast & The Most Stable

I've been hung up on evils sense rom for a while now, but this rom is tempting me to try something different.

Its the most stable version of the rom yet, here are some features pulled from the website:

    - New Settings.apk with Options for near all New Features

    - FroYo with Android 3.0 (Gingerbread) elements

    - Wifi,Bluetooth,GPS,Sync,CPU,Flightmode,Reboot Option in the Taskbar

    - Apps2ext (in Options)

    - FM Radio

    - Propeller view of all your Homescreens

    - IPhone like Home icons

    - add so Much Homescreens you want no Limit

    - HD Video Recording

    - OCed to 1,13 Ghz (using setCPU)

    - Trackball Wake (in Options)

    - Trackball Colors (in Options & with Trackball Alerts)

    - Battery Percentage (in Options)

    - Backup Apps & System Function

    - New awsome UI

    - Fast as Hell (Workflow & Games but sadly not in Linpack)

    Nice Post!

I've always admired Rods Roms. Might have to check this out while I wait for CM6.1

I'm currently running Rod's sense/cyanogen hybrid thingy, its pretty slick. Quite a bit faster in operation than evils. I think it incorporates some of the desire HD rom too.

http://www.nexusoneforum.net/forum/n...html#post78348 : Step by Step installation instructions

Battery life for this ROM is AMAZING. Specifically, Rod's Rom adds several things over stock MIUI such as

    English Pack
    GAPPS
    Launcher Pro
SyncMyPix (fixes Facebook sync issue for contact photos)
    Smooth Calendar
    Digital Clock Widget
Black theme (instead of MIUI stock Wood theme)
    Dev Tools app
    AutoKiller Memory AppKiller
    AppManager from Recent menu
    Astrid Tasks
Flashlight Alerts (uses torch for trackball like notifications, think seizure)
    Locale
    Logger
    Smooth Calendar
    XDA app

Not MIUI, but new RoD 1.8.1 has "transitions"

I am gonna give this a whirl to see how this is.

Update: Install via rom manager worked great. Very speedy Rom I must admit. Got the best speed test ever with this rom. I will backup this rom and reflash NXsense but may change it back to play with later. It will take getting used to with no app drawer. Dont wanna ruin the experience with LPro. Nice to have different rom options.

(I'll either find a way or make one)

That being said it is very quick. Dont know much about battery life because I didnt have it on long enough to test it as I dont like the look. Every one to themselves I guess. Thank you Dev's for making different roms. Something to suit everyones needs.

I think iPhone 'esque is a very apt description. The way it just dumps all of your apps on homescreens turned me off, I don't feel like making a million folders. I do like the settings toggles in the notification tray. Lack of built in widgets keeps sending me back to Sense.

Unrelated note - just flashed the Rod Sense CM hybrid rom and that boot animation is wicked fast!
