Gingerbread SDK - how to go back to Stock

    Hey Guys,

Lots of talk about SDK out next week,

So I thought I would just ask, as I now have no idea how to go back.

When I first started this, I used the One Click Root Method.

But now I have changed ROM 3 times, I not really sure how to get it back to stock. I don't even see the One Click Root App anymore.

Perhaps one of you talented Guys, can post a how to go back to stock.

Not sure if SDK will have anything that we don't already have, but they are keeping it very quiet.

    Just my thoughts,

    Gezza.

MIUI - What ever the latest is.

    Battery Circle Mod.

Kernel - Standard or Wildmonks latest.

No point going back to stock just to upgrade, the best thing to do is wait for someone to modify this new update in the form of "someones_Gingerbread_ROM" and that can just be flashed like all other roms, I can guarantee that a version will be out before most legit people (100% out of the box stock) have the option to update through checkin.

    Hey Guys,

Well I suppose were all curious as to what they will bring to the Table.

It may well be that there are no improvements, as they are working on the Stock N1.

We have so many different ROM available now, whats one more.

I might be wrong (since I've only rooted and installed ONE rom), but I believe there is a stock rom image (was it on Cyanogen or ROM manager?), you simply install that over what you have now and you'll be back to stock.

You could also wait for some people to work on gingerbread and release a rom... Like cyanogen! But i think it will be a looooooong wait.
Galaxy Nexus? I like Nexus prime more. Even the code name "Maguro" seemed cooler.

Yes Rom Manager does have a couple of stock images available, a simple wipe and flash might allow you to revert however I can’t remember how old the images are? I can’t say that I am waiting for Gingerbread since flashing MIUI but I am curious as to what it brings to the table

I love seeing these statements flying around the place haha the pure fact is that google created the nexus one, and google created android so you are not going to get anything closer to googles dream other than maybe a nexus two :P

ATM i am happy with MIUI and after hours of tweaking i am almost getting 3-4 days out of the battery with modest use and i love my SINGLE homescreen with all my apps linked onto it. I will revert to stock when gingerbread becomes the next building block for Cyan, to be honest i am not as excited about Gingerbread as i was for Froyo >?<
