Why does my Rodriguezstyle MIUI keep rebooting after install?

I downloaded and installed Rodriguezstyle MiUi rom yesterday, following all the install procedures(the double wipes and what not). But when I go to use it, it sometimes worked and it sometimes would crash and reboot. It was very weird because instead of just rebooting to the os, it would give the Nexus X then, after going no further, reboot again giving the Nexus X and reboot again and so on. This happened with every MiUi rom I installed, but not with the Evil Desire rom I have now. I really like MiUi, do you guys have any fix?

    Hey There,

What instructions did you follow to install the Miui Rom??

Did you follow Nicks from Page one?

It does sound like you have not cleaned your Cache and Dalvik and may have to do a Full factory clean as well.

If not cleaned properly remnants of the old ROM are left behind.

I would start again from the beginning.

    Follow these Instructions,

    1. Backup via Titanium Backup - Menu > Batch > Backup all user Apps
(Note: you may back up system data, but DO NOT RESTORE SYSTEM DATA if coming from a non MIUI ROM such as stock, Cyanogenmod, or Sense. They all appear to use a different database structure for contacts and SMS and you will get force closes)

    2. Download RoDrIgUeZsTyLe_MIUI_MOD_V1.6.6.zip

    3. Backup SD card by copying entire contents to your computer.

    4. nAndroid your current ROM
    a. Launch ROM Manager
    b. Backup Current ROM
    c. Name backup file something memorable (like CM6NIGHTLY188 or NXSense1.21.3)
    d. Hit OK, Accept SU prompt. Phone will reboot to recovery and nAndroid backup current system.
    5. [Optional Step] Launch ROM Manager and partition EXT

    a. Partition SD Card
    b. EXT Size: 512 MB
    c. Swap Size: 0MB
    d. Partitioning your SD Card will wipe ALL the data on your card, are you sure?: OK
    e. phone will automatically reboot, once recovery is finished
    f. Restore SD card by copying entire contents back from computer
    Upgrade EXT2 to EXT3
    g. Launch ROM Manager and Flash Alternate Recovery
(ROM Manager Features will be unavailable: OK)
    h. Power - Reboot - Recovery (or use Quick Boot to recovery)
    (info) Build RA-nexus-v1.7.0.1
    i. -Partition sdcard
    j. -SD:ext2 to ext3
    (info) "Upgrade ext2 to ext3
    Press trackball to confirm,
    any other key to abort."
    Upgrading ext2 to ext3: .......... (about 30 seconds)
    Ext upgrade complete!
    k. Reboot system now
    l. ROM Manager - Flash ClockworkMod Recovery
Check your EXT3 partition using Windows freeware tool: MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition
    6. Install ROM Manager (from Market or TB) and Launch ROM Manger and “Install ROM from SD Card”
    a. Browse to /download/RoDrIgUeZsTyLe_MIUI_MOD_V1.6.6.zip (or where ever you have it)
    b. Install Queue: RoDrIgUeZsTyLe_MIUI_MOD_V1.6.6.zip Choose OK
    c. ROM Pre-Installation: Check both “Backup Existing ROM” and “Wipe Data and Cache” (not necessary to check Backup Existing ROM if you did the nAndroid backup in step 4)
    d. Phone will reboot to recovery and install RoDrIgUeZsTyLe´s MIUIMOD!
    e. (Note: GAPPS and whole bunch of other stuff such Trackball alerts is preinstalled with this ROM)
    7. [Optional Step] Reclaim Internal Storage (If you created EXT Partition in step 4)
    a. Install Android Terminal Emulator (by Jack Palevich) from TB or Market and launch Terminal
    b.Type in the following:
    su
    a2sd check
    a2sd zipalign
a2sd noswap (OPTIONAL: this is if you created a swap partition in step 5 other than 0MB)
    a2sd cachesd
    Phone will automatically reboot now.
    check your internal memory
    8. [Optional Step] Restore via TB
    a. From home screen – hit Menu, Settings, Applications, check “Unknown Sources”
    b. Launch Titanium Backup - Menu – Batch – RUN “Restore all apps with data” Do not restore System Data
    ----------------

    Hope this helps,

    Gezza.

    @sliceburgslim & gezza
I had good news then got bad i wiped everything twice, downgraded my radio, and followed gezzas directions and wiped twice again. It work for about twelve hours. I didn't restore my apps except set scout which i set to 3/4ths speed. What i thought was interesting is during its time when it was powered up the processor was cooking big time @93-94 degrees. Then when i restarted my phone i got the same problem(boot, nexus x,crash, reboot, nexus x,crash and so on). Would u guys just say my phone isn't compatible with this ROM.
