    Can I just flash stock rom right now?

    I'm rooted via one click root and running cm6.1 rc1. Getting less then 12 hours battery life. With setcpu

    Now I want to go back to stock, for two reasons. First would be to see if I can get 24 hours on stock rom. And second when they release ginngerbread I want to try that out.

    So my question is can I just download stock rom via rommanager, flash it and lose my data but be root with stock rom and be able to get updated gingerbread when its released?

    I seriously doubt you can get 24 hrs off a stock Rom.

    No you will not receive an ota because you are rooted.

    If you did the 1-click method, you can use whatever application you used to root to 'unroot' your device.

    --> Ne:nexusx:uS One ROOTED

    --> ...a Gingerbread ROM
