The easiest way I've seen to do it is to use AmonRa Recovery to create the EXT2 Partition. Then use the option to upgrage EXT2 to EXT3. Easy as that.

Yes SD card is backed up. I also tried ROM Manager and I chose 512mb than it ask me for swap size. LOL

Can I use Amon RA even with ROM Manager?

The app Rom Manager is not Compatible with AmonRa. The trick is to flash AmonRa with Rom Manager, then Reboot into recovery and apply the Partition. After that just reboot and Reflash Clockwork with Rom Manager.

    Worked fine for me.

I'm on CM 6.1 stable. Not sure why I want DT, LOL. I see everyone talking about it.:D
Is there a better app to do this? I know I can go into Settings>Applications and move apps to SD card.

Well, CM6.1 is the only rom you need it for, the rest are automatic after first reboot. Unless you are running ok as is.

I have had trouble with DT in the past, is why I was asking.

I just tried it with kangorama and it or kangorama botched my sdcard.

Here's what I do for whatever it is worth: Back Up card first!!!!! (Which I also do with sd card reader--3 times faster

    1. Turn off phone and/or unmount sd card thru phone and storage

    2. Put sdcard in a sdreader and use sdformatter from web to format card, full erase and size to "ON"

    3. You can verify ant of these steps with Mini Partition Tool Wizard

    4. Put back in phone and use Rom Mgr to partition to whatever you want and zero swap. Rom Mgr does make it ext3. I verified that thru Tool Wizard. Problem is DT only sees everything as ext2, irregardless. Reboot back into recovery for it to take properly.

    5. If you have the space and plan on using any of the bigger desire roms, you may wany 1gb, my 2.5.0.7 paid version of Rom Mgr will do that.

    6. Put back into card reader and reload sd card from pc.

    7. Then back to phone and boot up what you want.
