going to flash custom rom. need some advice.
i rooted my phone using superoneclickroot and i have the superuser app
i downloaded the titanium back up app and backed up all my system and user data..
then i downloaded rom manager(free) and before flashing the recovery i went to fix permission option and tried to fox permission but it says "an error occured while attempting to carry out the previleged commands". what does that mean?
am i rooted properly???
thanks in advance.

Try installing a root only flashlight app from the market, and see if it works. The first time you run it, SuperUser should ask if you wanna grant permission...
If it works, you have root.

Good question - seems they're harder to find than they used to be...
Try a screenshot app instead - like drocap2

You really need to see if the app is working, which is why I suggested something simple, like a flashlight or screen cap.

Should be good then, try flashing a custom recovery. If you have an SLCD screen, you'll need to flash a newer version than the one recommended (available at the bottom of the menu, in ROM Manager).
