Question Can't download Grapps with CM6.1

    Hi All,

I've been trying to install CM6.1 final (I'm currently using 6.1 RC1), but ROM Manager always fails to download Grapps. Anyone know what the problem is?

    Thanks...

It's a known problem. Seems like for some reason GAPPS
doesn't download when using ROM Manager.
I just download from the site and flash it via recovery

I've always been able to use ROM Manager to download the google apps, until 6.1 final.

I had issue with that too. Just ended up downloading it from CM forums and flashed ROM & Gapps manually in recovery.

    Bummer....

I know that I should start a new thread, but Slim have you noticed any power issues with CM 6.1 Final?

CM 6.1 RC2 gave me a lot of problems. That's why I reverted back to RC1.

Yes there is some serious Battery Drain going on with 6.1 using Wildmonks latest Kernel. Planned on trying out some Pershoot kernels to see if it helps.

Seems a few peoples do have battery problems.

I know CM6 I had great battery life.
CM6.1 a little worst but honestly I have not really looked
in depth to it since it get me through the day and it's better than all my previous phones.

Couple of peoples went with the older Wildmonk 2.6.34 925mh and reported good battery life.

Let e know how the Pershot kernel goes Slice

It's not a problem with CM 6.1 RC1. The problem started with RC2. That's why I'm hoping that it's fixed in the final release.

I just installed it manually, I'll let you know what happens.

Cool, very like to know whether it has the battery drain issue with 6.1 stable
