No idea, sorry... :/
This is a discussion on Simple SDK setup guide within the Nexus One Development & Hacking forums, part of the Nexus One category; No idea, sorry... :/...
Well the only time I have ever herd the expression cannot allocate memory was in programming when you try and use dynamic memory and the memory is full you get an fatal error message saying exactly that and then the program stops (obviously since it was a fatal error XD). Not sure if this helps... probably not but you never know :/
where exactly do I copy the files to my phone when I open cmd?
Okay, I'm getting this weird error. When I try to unzip the file you included in the first post, I get a "Unsupported Compression method" error. Is there something unusual about this zip file? I'm using 7-zip right now.
I think I have most of the files in the zip from somewhere else, but I always get stuck on the chmod portion. Is the FASTBOOT required for that section?
I'm actually surprised that someone is still following this. This doesn't work on the latest version of Gingerbread, and there are much easier methods for Froyo (perhaps I should un-sticky this thread)...
Have you tried downloading the file again, just to make sure you don't have a corrupt version? I've just downloaded it and it works fine...?
You can only use fastboot if your bootloader is unlocked, and of your bootloader is unlocked there are much easier ways to root.
Big red letters on the second post - doesn't work for 2.3.4
You'll have revert to an older version, or unlock your bootloader...
