No actually you did post it a few back it was on page 4 post 39 but I just thought I would add in that he needs to type su first and that if the file name is different that he would have to go accordingly. But thanks for reposting anyway :D

    Ok,

You need to dl the first flash img he posted to root of sd card. That img allows you to run flash commands with terminal. Sorry, that has been on my card for so long, forgot it was there.

The second flash img is amon ra. Put that on root of sdcard also

Note that his has "passion" instead of "nexus" in command line

    So,

After you put both img on root of sdcard, open up Terminal and type at $ sign:

    su and hit enter

you will see a # sign

    after # sign type

    flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-passion-v2.2.1.img

    then hit enter

then reboot or just type reboot

Note: the "recovery-RA-passion-v2.2.1.img" should be the exact name of the img file you put on sd card

If you type it wrong it just won't do anything

I type it in AKNotepad or something similar and copy paste it to Terminal screen after the # sign. Do same thing with installing .apk thru termninal

    Welcome,

Terminal is pretty easy after a couple usages

As long as you got a good Nandroid you can get out of most problems

Just do what I don't and check md5's when available on dl's

when you dl roms and some other things like radios/etc there will be an md5 listed with it. Make note of the number or keep it open on a screen

Then after you dl to sd card you can use Astro File Mgr from market and long press on it and verify md5's match--very important if flashing a new radio or hboot--I don't do it much on roms, although I should.

    What is the MD5 checksum?

Ya all I'm getting is flash_image not found, triple checked then triple checked again, spellings good and all,now there was one thing I notice, instead of say the clockwork symbol beside my roms on the sdcard the recovery-RA-passion file has the icon for player pro(my music app)
Would that has something to do with it?
