No if it doesn't flash it will not brick or damage your phone in any way all it will do is say "error update aborted" or something along those lines.

Well I don't know why it's taking so long but 85mb's is the right size if you want to know if the file is ok check the md5 this is what the correct md5 is: d90635c2d269c6a26f77ae1a681e5424

If the passimg worked, you should be on stock FRG83...

It looks like it didn't work - describe what happened...

Oh... let me describe in detail what happened.

    1. I download the first zip file and copy it on the root of my SD card and rename it as passimg.zip

    2. I did reboot into bootloader. Screen came with options so that I could select "bootloader" from the list. It mounts the card and check for different **img files.

    3. Two img files got skipped as they were not present and third file (passimg.zip) got picked and start flashing (an upward status bar location on the top right corner of the phone).

    4. It got back to original list from where I did a reboot - thats it.

I was also shocked that it was still on CM7 ROM.

    What went wrong??

Well, it found the file so out was named correctly, however out didn't like it for some reason - it should ask if you want to install it...

I would try FRG33 file - it seems to have a higher success rate...

Sorry, I thought you were using FRG83.

Yes, use another file if you can find one...
