    Question help installing blackrose

Can someone tell me how to install blackrose with windows? Or at least point me to a thread or website that might help me? I've been searching all day, but nothing I've been reading makes sense.

    Thanks in advance,
    Alex

1.you shd have android sdk installed.
    2. Make sure that adb n fastboot are recognised.
    3. Create the custom ics hboot (.nb0) (220/16/200) using breditor.exe or spl hex editor by IR.
    4. Turn on usb debugging and comnect to system normally.
    5. Run blackrose.exe and first install custom blackrose bootlloader using option 1 (install)
    6. After that, install custom hboot that u created by choosing option 4 (advanced).
That shd be it . Ken i hope i am good. Correct me if i am wrong

don't need the sdk unless you are going to bypass br installer and fastboot with command window

do need the adb and fastboot drivers per op

If you are using sdk I would say 1/2/4/5/6

You can use splhexiditor at any point after or br editor

I fastboot all hboots with splhexeditor, don't use br editor

Y not to use breditor? Both breditor and splhexeditor does the same thing (create custom parrition hboot) right?

    just preference

i switch roms a lot and use it to verify correct hboot in my tools folder before fastbooting it

i really don't use installer either, just copy latest br to tools and fastboot

i use fastboot for that reason--to learn and get better at it

you can't restore a rom with a different hboot partition size, don't matter if you have br just need to resize back to stock sizes. Although i think i did get CM7 to flash over ics sizes, not sure.
