got to make sure you are in fastboot. unplug phone, press pwr and trackball till phone boots, that is fastboot mode

also maybe reinstall drivers thru pc control panel

are you sure you cd'd correctly to the folder where your fastboot.exe is--if you have done all this fastboot successfully before you should be ok

do you have the extracted br folder still on pc if so go to the binary folder and put the go.lol file and the hboot_blackrose.nb0 file into the fastboot.exe folder also and try this

    1) Boot device into fastboot mode and plug into computer
    2) Type fastboot devices to make sure your computer sees your device
    3. cd to the fastboot.exe folder on pc
    4) Type fastboot boot go.lol
    5) Type fastboot flash hboot hboot_blackrose.nb0
    6) fastboot reboot-bootloader and see if you have br on bootloader screen

    the go.lol may be go2.lol

this will put br hboot back on phone, may help don't know

if this still don't work maybe make sure you did the correct passimg to go back to stock

    FASTBOOT (USB)

    <VOL UP> to previous item
    <VOL DOWN> to next item
    <POWER> to select item

    BOOTLOADER
    REBOOT
    REBOOT BOOTLOADER
    POWER DOWN

if you have a good hboot

I tried to flash the .nbo file, and it gave the error "remote: not allowed" again. It's sooo frustrating. I put PASSIMG.zip on my SD card and booted into bootloader mode, but it did not automatically flash for some reason, (not sure if blackrose supports PASSIMG) then I used RUU mode or something that booted me into the "HTC" screen. Then I used the fastboot commands for passimg RUU flash, and it still gave me the same error. I tried flashing different .nbo's and rebooting the bootloader, but I get the same error, and my fastboot mode screen stays the same. (says 'blackrose' at top)

    i am at a loss

did you try to fastboot the go or go2.lol i mentioned

are you sure you have all files you are trying to fastboot in right folder on pc (where your fastboot.exe is) and changing directory to that folder before you type fastboot commands

you could post screenshots of those commands

you could try to reinstall drivers

not sure if you ever said you were always able to run fastboot commands before this or if fastboot is new to you

doesn't your fastboot screen show an hboot number not just Blackrose, it should look like my above post with just a different hboot number--i think?

sounds like something easy you missed and getting more complicated as you try everything--so maybe start at beginning with drivers maybe

could be hardware or you have no correct hboot

wish someone else had good idea

try posting all this-- exactly what you did and exact failures as a new thread on XDA N1 subforum--be specific
