    Because it wont let you flash an older ROM on, I've tried to downgrade from ERE36B to ERD79 and it states:

    Main version is older!
    Update fail!

    boot into recovery mode by holding volume down key, then, press and release the power button once, wait until it got some text on screen, release the volume down key, wait for prompt and update!

    holds 3g a little better in an area that kept fluctuating. im assuming the new radio helped.
