So I rooted the phone last night. Everything has been going along really well. I had backed up all my apps with Astro, and reinstalled them back.

However, I notice that when I go to the market, those apps that I installed are not on that list (obviously). How will I get updates of my apps without these notifications?

I Don't think you will unless you reinstall them one by one from the market. Not sure if titanium backup can make your apps appear in the market again.

If you set up apps2sd and reload it on your SD card, you wouldn't have to do it again.

Set up apps2sd (or a2sd in Modaco terms). Make sure all your apps are on your SD card.

If you need to wipe to change roms, wipe data and cache, but do not wipe ext. Now, even if you flash a new rom (modaco or cyan), your apps will still show up. It will be on the market as well.

I used titanium backup and restored data only on the applications. I'm not sure if that was necessary, but it's good to have titanium backup of apps anyway.
