PEOPLE. Please please please read through XDA and this forum CAREFULLY before posting questions.

Flipping through the last 10 new pages I'm seeing the exact same questions that have been answered multiple times.

The same questions that are answered on XDA. The thread search function is here for a reason. This is why people over at XDA are anal about this. Please keep this thread short and sweet so people looking for help don't have to read 80+++ pages.

Just saw a tweet from Cyanogen saying he is jumping on the kmobs undervolt bandwagon. Apparently, he states Qualcomm is doing it too.

SetCPU is the best app to overclock your Nexus.

But personally, I do not overclock/underclock. Haven't had any real reason. The most intensive app I have which is HOMERUN BATTLE 3D runs extremely smoothly on Cyanogen without overclocking.

SetCPU works great for overclocking if you decide you want to. But I haven't encountered a need too.

Thanks! Was about to say the same about yours

Actually, I see no need to overclock either, it's blazing fast as it is... and underclocking seem underwhelming now The battery is still very good, so no complaints at all. And! I have not had one crash since I rooted!

Today I talked to my Dad, and his N1 had 51 MB free memory, mine 350 MB. I'll visit my folks in April and will root his as well for sure!

I read somewhere that Cyanogen runs his mod twice the minimum of stock, whether it was cycles or volt I'm not sure, but his mod supposedly depletes battery faster, and I have noticeable difference since I rooted and modded. But the OC takes the voltage back to stock volt thereby reducing the battery consumption. Chime in if I'm completely off.

during time I was using stock rom, my highest battery consumer was the display, but now it is always Android system. So I asked the question, is it because the CM was tweaked to reduce display energy consumption thereby making it appear the android system consumes the most battery now, or was there something done that made the android system use up more battery almost by as much as 50%

Don't want to derail the thread, but now that I have rooted, can I make screenshots? If so, how?
